These terms govern your use of Match Your Cofounder. By creating an account, you accept them. We've kept them short and readable.
1. Purpose of the service
Match Your Cofounder is a service that connects people who want to launch an entrepreneurial project together. It is operated by Match Your Cofounder ASBL, a non-profit association based in Liège, Belgium. We help you identify potential cofounders through human qualification of profiles. We guarantee neither that a partnership will be formed, nor that a project will succeed.
2. Free during the beta
The service is currently in beta and free of charge. We may change the features, and introduce paid options in the future: you will be informed beforehand and nothing will be charged to you without your agreement.
3. Your account and your answers
You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information and to create only one account in your name. You are responsible for how your account is used. You can change your answers or delete your account at any time from your profile.
4. Expected behavior
You agree to use the service in good faith and with respect. The following are prohibited in particular: hateful or discriminatory speech, harassment, impersonation, unwanted solicitation, and any use of other members' data for purposes other than looking for a cofounder. We may suspend or delete an account that does not comply with these rules.
5. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy. In short: your data is used solely to make introductions, is never resold, and you can delete it whenever you want.
6. Liability
The service is provided as is, during a beta phase. We do everything we can to make it work well, without being able to guarantee continuous availability or the absence of errors. We are not responsible for exchanges, decisions or agreements made between members outside the platform. Every introduction remains your own responsibility: it is up to you to do your own due diligence before committing to someone.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, we favor an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of the judicial district of Liège shall have jurisdiction. These terms are available in French, English and Dutch: in case of any discrepancy between the language versions, only the French version is authoritative.
